As director of enrollment and planning, Bill says his favorite part of the day is talking with families about Thacher’s amazingly positive peer community. In addition to his administrative duties, Bill is an advisor to senior boys and the faculty coordinator for the surf and micro-finance clubs. After earning his BA at Colgate University and his MBA at Columbia University, Bill worked in advertising in NYC before serving as director of marketing and planning at The Northfield Mount Hermon School. When Bill isn’t in his office, look for him running on the School’s trails or surfing. He lives on campus with his wife, Sabina, who is the dean of students. All three of their sons attended Thacher and then went on to Colgate University.

Kim comes to Thacher after many years working in admission and financial aid at Buckingham Browne & Nichols, a Boston area day school where she was immersed in all aspects of school life. A native of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she studied English, with an emphasis on journalism, at Providence College and later went on to earn a master’s degree in education, with a focus on race, class, and gender, from Tufts University. Making the move from an East Coast day school to a California boarding school has been a great experience, and she especially loves the many opportunities to have informal time to get to know students. At Thacher, Kim is the faculty advisor for the United Cultures of Thacher (UCT) and advises girls in The Hill. In her free time she enjoys cooking, writing, and practicing yoga.
Megan is the associate director of admission and serves as dorm head of Casa, home to freshman girls. While at Thacher, she has taught AP Psychology and English and has been a part of the HR&S Program (Human Relations and Sexuality). A graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Princeton University, Megan went on to earn her Ed.M. from Harvard University and then taught at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Dana Hall School in Wellesley, Massachusetts, before arriving at Thacher in 2001. Megan and her husband, Jason, love living on Thacher's beautiful campus with their three children.
As associate director of admission, Tim fully embraces Thacher’s essential spirit of adventure; for him, sharing that spirit with new students and families is the best part of his job. After graduating from Princeton in 2005, Tim continued his studies (and met his wife, Courtney) at Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English, from which he earned a master’s degree in 2010. In addition to working in the admission department at Thacher, Tim coaches varsity boys’ lacrosse, serves as an advisor to senior boys, and acts as dorm head in Upper School, where he and Courtney also live.
