You Can't Take It With You
The Thacher Masquers perform the 1937 Pulitzer Prize winner.
This past weekend the Thacher Masquers brought Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's comedic, Pulitzer Prize-winning play You Can't Take It with You to the Milligan Center stage. The story follows Alice Sycamore and Tony Kirby, a couple that fell in love despite their despairingly different families. Alice is terrified that her happy, though slightly eccentric, family will scare off her future in-laws. The chaos that unfolds as these two families meet and meld is delightfully humorous.
Thacher's masquers, tech crew, and directors put in a tremendous amount of time and hard work into the production, and the community delighted in their performance.
