What do you like best about living and studying at Thacher?

The best part about living and studying at Thacher are the endless avenues of support. Whether it's getting help with work, borrowing a dress or tie for formal dinner, or simply needing someone to talk to, the people at Thacher are more than willing to help. Especially as a new student, asking for something can be scary, but it’s so normal! Even as a senior, I ask kids and teachers constantly about where classes are, what events are going on, or if they can help guide me to someone who knows. Everyone in the community truly wants you to thrive which I think is a quality that is definitive of Thacher.

Who has had the greatest impact on you during your time at Thacher?

The girls in my dorm have definitely had the greatest impact on me and my experience at Thacher. There is something particularly unique about living with the same group of individuals for three years. It’s amazing to see the support and energy that is cultivated in the dorm. I wouldn’t have wanted to learn and grow with anyone else.
