What do you like best about living and studying at Thacher?

One thing I like the most about living and studying at Thacher is the campus itself. Here, there are so many different buildings that provide you with a different type of studying environment. I personally love taking classes at the Gates building that was newly built. Also, staying at the greens around the campus is great because you will be able to meet many people who are passing by and spend a spectacular time with them.

What advice would you give to a student thinking about boarding school?

One piece of advice that I would like to give to a student thinking about boarding school is that don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort and dive into a new place. It might first seem hard and hesitating to start, but boarding school is a perfect place to find a new kind of family that will always be there for you. The support and connections that are being created here will become another one of your strengths, and you will be able to go through any hardships that you expect to face when you come to a boarding school.
Notice of nondiscriminatory policy as to students: The Thacher School admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other School-administered programs.
