What advice would you give to a student thinking about boarding school?

If you’re having doubts, I would encourage you to go for it. Of course, boarding school isn’t for everyone, but it will make you grow faster as a person. You will find out important things about yourself and create connections that last a lifetime. Plus, it really is a ton of fun to live with your best friends every day.

What will you miss most once you graduate?

The easier question is what won’t I miss? I’ll miss the smell of orange blossoms riding back from the gymkhana field. The vibrant sunset over Upper Field as I picnic with my advisee group. The smell of hay and horses that I’ve come to love. Most of all, I think I’ll miss the people who have become my family - the best friends and most supportive teachers I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them.
