We invite you to make a leap into an education like no other.
If you’re thinking of applying, you’ve probably done your share of research. You’ve read about what sets us apart from other high schools. You have seen the rugged beauty of our campus via our virtual tour. You’ve watched the videos of our students and faculty talking about their own Thacher lives, and you’ve begun to imagine your own. And you probably follow us on social media. Now it's time to schedule your virtual visit and interview.
The second part is the virtual interview which must be completed by February 1st 2022. Time slots are limited and in high demand so please schedule as soon as possible. The interview involves a 15 to 20 minute discussion with an admission officer and the applying student. If available, parents should join the session after the students' portion is completed. Families are required to attend a Virtual Information Session before the interview.
A third, and optional component, is an on-campus visit for fully vaccinated guests only. This program is for families applying for the 2022-2023 academic year. Families are asked to attend a Virtual Information Session before their visit. Click here to register for an in-person campus visit.
HEALTH PROTOCOLS: In an effort to keep our community and guests safe, visitors need to be fully vaccinated two weeks prior to their visit date. Please email a copy of your vaccination cards for each visitor to firstname.lastname@example.org at least three days prior to your visit. Due to capacity limits, we can only accommodate three guests per family and unfortunately cannot welcome unvaccinated younger siblings. All visitors must be masked at all times while on campus.
Notice of nondiscriminatory policy as to students: The Thacher School admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other School-administered programs.
