Advice for a student considering Thacher:
As you are looking for your future high school, be sure to pick a school that can be a home for you. I remember researching and touring schools other than Thacher and finding them very interesting and cool places but not schools that specifically suited me. I found an incredible sense of comfort at Thacher because of our tightly knit community.

    Living and studying at Thacher:
One of the best things about being at Thacher is being exposed to so many different perspectives. Our student body is composed of people from all over the world and that has resulted in my expanded worldview. Through this, I have been able to look at different problems and issues through different lenses.

Advice for a student considering boarding school:
It may seem scary but go for it. It has taught me responsibility, independence, bravery, and many other things that cannot even be put into words. It has led me to discover a lot more about who I am and what my interests are.

    The most impactful person:
I have had so many friends and faculty that have made an impact on me during my time at Thacher. And while I am very grateful for that, my freshman year horse had the biggest impact on me. Taking care of and riding him taught me patience, responsibility, and friendship.
