American Infection: How conspiracy theories are redefining the nation

How do conspiracy theories influence modern American society? In the golden age of fake news, sociopolitical upheaval, and pandemics, conspiracy theories have never held so much power as they do now; half of Americans believe at least one major theory. My research focused on determining exactly how and why conspiracy thinking has become so prevalent and what factors led us here, examining QAnon, social media, and political parties. Learn about the psychology of conspiracy thinking and how theories play into American culture, politics, and healthcare as we consider what to do next.
