• My primary roles at Thacher

  I will be working as the associate director of college counseling and will coach the varsity girls’ lacrosse team. I’ll also be working in the residential program and as an advisor.

  I met with Thacher students at the beginning of my interview. They were so passionate, articulate, and welcoming! I knew I wanted to be a part of their Thacher journey.

• When not in the classroom I can be found

  Outside—reading on the beach, walking in the mountains, exploring new cities, boating on a lake!

  Acadia National Park, Maine; the streets of the Rive Gauche, Paris; the Galápagos Islands, Ecuador.

• Since you asked me to brag, here are the professional accomplishments I am most proud of

  Seeing my college counselees get to know themselves better and discover what is important to them, hearing my students speak French fearlessly and spontaneously, witnessing my advisees become better self-advocates and more confident students, and seeing my athletes push themselves physically and hold themselves to high sportsmanship standards.

• Hardly anybody knows that

  I love a good pun, a bad joke, or a Dad joke. The cornier the better!

• The book, movie, work of art, or piece of music I cannot imagine life without

  “Natural Disaster” by Zac Brown Band.

• What I wanted to be when I grew up (when I was 10)

  I wanted to be the first female president of the United States until I was in high school, at which point I wanted to be the director of the NSA.

  Someone who can make anyone laugh, smile, and feel at ease.
