Favorite Thacher teaching moment
When my former student, Alice Hyde, a senior, acted as my “T.A.” for a term and taught her first class of sophomores. She was brilliant!
When not in the classroom I can be found
In the library, in the English/History Office, or at the barn.
Since you asked me to brag, here are the professional accomplishments I'm most proud of
Inaugurating the Senior Exhibition Program (originally an optional activity and now a signature program at Thacher).
Working to develop the Global Citizenship Program, especially organizing our three-week cultural immersion in Senegal.
Initiating the draft-horse program (a.k.a. “Teamsters”).
Directing 27 theatrical productions and working collaboratively with Gallia Vickery and Greg Haggard.
Favorite job perk

I was a cliff diver in my teenage years.
Favorite place at Thacher
The Gymkhana Field.
Favorite place in my imagination
An endless savannah landscape with thousands of animals.
