Alumni Events & Activities

Reunion Weekend

June

Each year, after the seniors have celebrated their rite of commencement, those that have already graduated Casa De Piedra return to campus. Classmates gather again below Twin Peaks—surrounded by the scent of orange blossoms and horses—to remember their days at Thacher and to forge new memories and connections.

Alumni Day

January

Ride the trails again, or just trot around the Gymkhana Field. Visit with your teachers and friends. Play (beat!) the varsity basketball and soccer teams. Test your aim at the Trapshooting Range–can you still hit the target? Enjoy a tasty meal in the Dining Hall–we still have soft-serve ice cream!

Alumni Encampment at Golden Trout

July or August

Over 50 years ago, a small group of dedicated alumni secured the lease to a parcel of land in the southern Sierra Nevada known as Golden Trout Camp. Since then, the camp has been the site for thousands of people, young and old, to step out of the grind of their daily lives and to reconnect with nature. Alumni have gathered with their families and classmates around its tables and campfire, deepening their personal connections while climbing mountains, swimming in alpine lakes, and enjoying the grandeur of the Sierra in its summer richness.

ToadCast Town Hall

ToadCast Town Halls are a chance for the community to join together via telephone or internet stream for an interactive live conversation about timely School news and topics. The leadership of the School looks forward to answering questions and hearing your thoughts and comments, which participants are able to submit in real-time during the ToadCast.
