Former TOAD Makes Mark at Occidental College

Ciara Byrne CdeP 2014 breaks a womens lacrosse school record.
Ciara Byrne CdeP 2014, who was the captain of the girls’ varsity basketball, lacrosse, and volleyball teams at Thacher, is now making her mark as one of the captains on the Occidental College women’s lacrosse team. During a recent blowout against Whittier College (she contributed an impressive five goals to the final score), Ciara clinched her spot as a school record holder for caused turnovers.

In a release published by Occidental, coach Stephanie Mark said: I’m proud of the effort today. It was a very good team win. Ciara, Sierra, and Alessandra lead the way for us all over the field and others follow.

Ciara also plays on the Occidental College womens basketball team and is majoring in diplomacy and world affairs, as well as economics.
