Murder at Coppersmith Inn

The Thacher Masquers stage a mystery farce.
Mandy, Elinor, and Sara (played here by Libby, Alette, and Isabel) are juniors in high school with almost no acting experience to speak of who are “playing” Desiree, Baron, and Franchot, three college-age women with extensive dinner theater experience, which allows them to snag the main roles in a murder mystery weekend production at the historic Coppersmith Inn. Plus, Gertrude and Heidi (played here by James and Will), two of the guests attending the murder mystery extravaganza, aren’t little old ladies, after all, but Roger and Bruce, two undercover FBI agents in disguise.

You got all that? It’s just the start.

So goes Dan Neidermyer’s Murder at Coppersmith Inn: A Mystery Farce in Three Acts, which The Thacher Masquers successfully staged this past November 3 and 4. There was mystery, there was farce, and there was an impressive set of actors and a talented production team that put on a fun, zany, high-energy performance for the whole Thacher community to enjoy.

Congrats to the cast and crew on a great production!
