March Magic

Stepping up to the challenge.
The NCAA may have cancelled March Madness, but March Magic was another story, one in which were reminded how broad and deep Thacher loyalties go. We ended the month by breaking our old participation record of 72 percent, set the year of the Thomas Fire, with a partipation of 75 percent. It would seem that Toads know how to respond in a crisis. In this case that meant rallying to cash in on a challenge gift by an anoynomous Thacher donor that sent $10 to Food Share, a Ventura non-profit helping to ease hunger, for every contribution to March Magic. So our 465 donors meant $4,650 for that worthy cause. And it won't stop there, as part of that challenge I agreed to donate my time to the Food Share distribution popup when it comes to town later this month. So here's to our community, the leadership of our hardworking class reps, and a major organizing effort on the part of our Alumni and Development staff.
