Fall Play: “It’s a Wonderful Life”

Thacher Masquers bring a 1940s-style radio play to life in the Outdoor Theatre.
Much as people gathered around radios to listen to radio dramas in the 1940s, the Thacher community gathered in person and around computers to catch the live broadcast of It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, the fall play. Nine actors performed in the Outdoor Theatre before a live audience, changing their voices and characterizations in order to play 44 roles. In keeping with the live radio theme, they created their own sound effects (foley) using things like a wine bottle in a sack broken by a hammer and buckets of water poured off the stage.

Congratulations to the cast and crew for a highly entertaining production!
