Thacher baseball team volunteers at local food pantry
Thacher School baseball players and coaches recently spent some of their spring break time helping out at the St. Thomas Aquinas food pantry, run by the non-profit organization, St. Vincent de Paul Society.
The baseball team, many of whom are local day students, had returned to campus early for some practice time and volunteered to help at the food pantry on Saturday, March 18.
Thacher has been providing student volunteers to the food pantry on a monthly basis since Feb. 2022, so it was a natural progression for the baseball players to participate.
Thacher gets back into the swing of their baseball season with an away game at Foothill Tech on Thursday, March 23, and the Toads host Ojai Valley School on Saturday, March 25.
