Media Assistant in Photography Michael Stenovec ’10 is lending a hand (and a talented eye) to the Communications team in capturing some of Life at Thacher. "From the start of the year when he committed to this job," says Joy Sawyer-Mulligan (a member of the department), "Michael has come leagues in his artistry. Framing up his shots carefully, finding just the beauty he wishes to catch, translating the ephemeral into the more permanent in order to share his take on this world, he has made himself a valued member of our small group.”

 

Michael’s own words for his works-in-progress:


Because of my new experience with the camera lens, I've come to see everything across campus as a potential photograph. Though there's no way that I could come close to capturing the beauty of this area as it is, I still wanted to give different perspectives on common sights around campus.

 

I hope you all enjoy my vision of Thacher.
