For College Admission Officers

College Admission Officers

Thacher happily welcomes all college admission officers to visit with all our students every year. This year, in light of the risk that Covid-19 is posing, we are hosting virtual meetings this fall. Considering the daily changes and demands of this year's admission cycle, the focus of our high school visits this year will be our seniors and the schools where they are planning to apply.

Later in the winter and spring, we will welcome virtual gatherings for our juniors as they initiate their own college search process.

Scheduling Your Visit—Starting August 2020

Students are available for virtual visits on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 2:50 pm and 3:30 pm.

Follow the link on the right to YouCanBook.Me and provide a Zoom link for your meeting. Our office will be in contact as soon as possible in the event that Thacher seniors are not applying for 2021-2022 admission. We know you are super busy and want to make the most of your time and interest in our students.

On a final note, if these times don't work for your schedule, please reach out to Jill Manfredi, who manages the calendar. We want to do all we can to provide this opportunity for you and our seniors.

Please email Jill Manfredi, our administrative assistant, at collegeoffice@thacher.org

On March 26, students returned to the final Spring Trimester via online learning. Additionally, committed to supporting our students and their learning at home during this unprecedented pandemic, Thacher's Academic Council, with approval from our head of school, made the decision to move to a ‘pass/no pass’ grading system for the trimester.
