A Long First Trimester...

...a long first break.
Students did not return home for Thanksgiving break this year, so after a four-month stint away from home, it will sure be nice for families to have their students home with them for six weeks. It is a well-deserved break. Midway through the first trimester, life on campus was almost normal. Many classes were meeting in classrooms, afternoon activities resembled regular sports practices, and weekend camping trips resumed. Getting there required a Herculean effort by the administration, faculty, and staff. The good news throughout these past four months was that not a single student or faculty member tested positive for covid. Students were sent home for winter break in good health.
