3D-Printed Hearts: The Future of Heart Transplantations
Currently, the United States is in the midst of an extreme organ shortage crisis. We simply do not have enough organs to keep up with the increasing number of patients on the national transplant list. Learn about a new, fast-developing technology known as 3D bioprinting, which doctors are now using to 3D-print actual human hearts that can be used for transplant.
