Fall Play: "The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong"

Milligan Center for the Performing Arts - Milligan Center - MCPA
Mischief Theatre Company's The One Act Play That Goes Wrong follows the antics of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society and their attempts to perform a 1920s murder mystery. As the title suggests, nearly everything that could go wrong does, and the brave actors and technicians struggle to reach the performance's final curtain.

The work premiered in London in 2012, transferring to the West End in 2013. The original cast then opened the play on Broadway in 2017 with JJ Abrams making his debut as a theatrical producer.

The Play That Goes Wrong has won multiple awards around the world including the WhatsOnStage and Olivier Award for Best New Comedy plus a Tony and Drama Desk Award for Best Scenic Design of a Play.
