Against the backdrop of Nordhoff Ridge and a sweeping view of the Ojai Valley, Thacher's track and field athletes enjoy the most scenic of venues for their workouts. Strong and passionate coaching creates a good and supportive team culture, as well as dedicated and talented athletes. Thacher track and field has placed well in meets throughout Southern California. Furthermore, the Toads typically send a host of qualifying athletes into the post-season to compete at the league and divisional levels. 

As prolific as any Thacher athletic program when it comes to having its graduates continue playing their sport in college, track and field alumni have gone on to compete at Amherst College, Bowdoin College, Brown University, Claremont-McKenna College, Colorado College, Hamilton College, Middlebury College, Pomona College, Scripps College, Wesleyan University, and Yale University.
