Tennis coach Pete Fagan is honored by USPTA.
...and the California high school coach of the year award goes to... Pete Fagan!
The United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) selected Thacher's athletic director and tennis coach for this year's award on the strength of his 42-3 win-loss record over the last two years, as well as his 28 years of service with USPTA, ongoing professional development, and volunteerism.
“I work with literally hundreds of pro coaches,” said assistant tennis coach Scott Burton. “Pete Fagan is among the best I have had the pleasure to know and work with. His knowledge of the game and his mentorship to The Thacher School student body is very special.”
