The Sixth Amendment of the Constitution guarantees an impartial jury. But when the Founding Fathers laid out their vision for justice through an unbiased jury of one’s peers, America was far less diverse and the idea of influencing trial outcomes through high-priced jury consultants — as in the trials of both O.J. Simpson and Kyle Rittenhouse — was unimaginable. In the modern age, is an impartial jury of one’s peers still fair? Is it even possible?
