Sex Education and TV Shows
Sex Education is and has been one of the most important and controversial debates inside and outside of the classroom. Unlike Math, United States History, or other school courses, sex education does not have the luxury of being a consistent, politically uninvolved staple for schools. As time goes by, more and more schools are being constrained not to teach necessary topics within their sexual health programs, but the students’ needs have not shifted. How can and should schools utilize television shows such as Big Mouth and Sex Education to provide a more relatable and holistic education?
