Jina: The Meaning of C de P

Jina Yun
Bound together by four simple letters.
You look to your left and see old men who could be as old as your father walking around campus and greeting all your teachers. You look to the right and you see current students talking to their past prefects, catching up, and just purely enjoying each other’s company. You look around you and you see smiling faces, welcoming hugs, and of course, the screams of joy. There are numerous unfamiliar faces, but you know that as different as you might be from them, you’re still bound to each other by four letters: CdeP. These four letters signify your time at Thacher and your graduation. They stick with you for the rest of your life and mean so much with so few letters. Even though you might not know everyone during Alumni weekend, at Thacher, there is an amazing bond between the past and the present students.
