The Future of the Thacher Gun Range: Using Phytoremediation to Heal Depleted Soil

The Thacher gun range has been an integral part of the school’s culture for over 100 years. However, is the gun range destroying the soil our school is rooted on? In this presentation we will explore the sustainability of the gun range through the analysis of soil sample data and ecological research. Additionally we will explore the viability of phytoremediation to restore the toxic soil.
