Tim Burton Films: Authenticity in a World of Conformity
Tim Burton's extremely authentic film style has grown to be so iconic that their traits have even coined the term "Burtonesque". His beautiful films, such as The Corpse Bride and Edward Scissorhands, have impacted movie watchers in ways far beyond the screen. In retrospect, however, it is clear that films as authentic as Burton’s can no longer thrive in the current industry that is now solely focused on spectacle, production value, and celebrity appeal.
