A Note about In Person Interviews:
An interview—either in person or virtual—is a required part of the application process. The interview is a great opportunity for you to learn more about Thacher, ask questions, and connect with an Admission Officer. Interviews are approximately 30 minutes. The Admission Officer speaks one-on-one with the student for the first 15–20 minutes and then meets with the parent(s) or guardian(s) for the final 10–15 minutes.
For Fall 2026 Applicants:
The January 15, 2026, application deadline has passed, and we are no longer scheduling in person or virtual interviews for this admission cycle.
For Fall 2027 Applicants: From early September 2026 to late January 2027, we offer campus visits with the option to interview in person at the time of the visit.
