List of 12 frequently asked questions.

  • FAVORITE PLACE AT THACHER

I love to look out just past the swings and pool facing the David S. Lavender Track and Upper Field. That view was amazingly uplifting for me throughout my time at Thacher as a student.
  • FAVORITE PLACE ON EARTH

Anywhere with my friends family and good food!
I also have an affinity for swimming, so around and in water!
  • FAVORITE PLACE IN MY IMAGINATION

That would have to be on any sports field where I’ve just done tons of back flips and impressive juke moves to score for my team. I am not too coordinated so that hasn’t happened for me… yet.
  • WHAT I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GREW UP (WHEN I WAS 10)

A psychologist. I wanted to work with people and help them process whatever may have been going on in their lives.
  • THE BOOK, MOVIE, WORK OF ART, OR PIECE OF MUSIC I CANNOT IMAGINE LIFE WITHOUT

Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” is my mom’s favorite song. I remember it being the first song that my whole family would come together and try (keyword: try) to sing together. Those moments the song created win it this spot.
  • MY PRIMARY ROLE AT THACHER

I am a Fisher Fellow working as assistant to the dean of students and working for the Admission Office.
  • I KNEW I WANTED TO WORK AT THACHER WHEN

I had a dream about it as a student about nine years ago! This school broadened my horizons in ways I never imagined it could. I wanted to contribute to the positive experiences of students on campus just as the faculty, staff, and administration did for me during my four years as a student!
  • HARDLY ANYBODY KNOWS THAT I

Am a huge fan of Pokémon. The video games and TV show bring me back to some incredible memories as a child! I have always wanted to embark on a magnificent journey, and until Thacher, Pokémon games were the only way for me to do so.
  • WHAT I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP (NOW)

Now that I am a whopping 23 years of age, I still want to help guide others, but my focus has changed to focus on children. I look back and reflect on all the mentors I have gained through my education. They’ve had the most profound impact on my growth. So I really just want to do all I can to be a good influence on the youth.
  • WHEN NOT TEACHING I CAN BE FOUND

I love eating! Always willing to take a trip to the dining hall or beyond for a good meal! I also really love listening to music, so I can definitely be found anywhere there are speakers.
  • FAVORITE JOB PERKS

I get to live on one of the most beautiful campuses, work with some of the most caring faculty, and get to know some of the most impressive students! The food is pretty great too!
  • SINCE YOU ASKED ME TO BRAG, HERE'S THE PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT I'M MOST PROUD OF

    I now have a Driver’s License!
