Recently, there has been a surge of equity training for elite academic spaces from private high schools to colleges. Who are the ones leading this change? The people of color who dealt with being marginalized in these prestigious academic environments. Most of this change coming from the women of this demographic. With the racist, colorist, sexist, and classist culture at predominantly white private schools, where do women of color fit in? Where do men of color step in?
