In a school that abounds in traditions, one in the “quirky and fun” category is held especially fondly by those participating: When the last of the seniors has earned a spot in college or university, the class as a whole gleefully moves for Assembly from the upper wall and lawn bordering the little Pergola hillside down to what’s known as the Freshman Wall. The reasoning is obvious: they are about to begin again on the bottom rung at the colleges and universities of their choice. We wish these freshly minted CdeP grads worthy struggles and satisfying rewards in whatever halls of academe echo their next steps.
