Thacher Girls Tennis wins Condor League!

This past Friday, the Thacher girls tennis team took on rival Cate for the Condor League Championship.  Because Cate had won their first match-up, the lady Toads needed a victory to tie for the championship and the luck of the coin flip to win the title.  They were victorious on both counts.  In the match, strong contributors were Shelley Vohr '14 at #1 singles,  Sydney De Polo '17 at # 3 singles, and Auden Ehringer '14 and Grace Bingham '15 at # 1 doubles.  Shelley and Sydney won two matches and Auden and Grace won all three of their sets.  In addition, the girls got big victories from Grace Callander '16 and Cassie James '15 in the first round and Annika Bhasanavich '14 and Felicia Jiang '14 in the third round to seal the victory.  For winning the Condor League, the girls will have a first round bye and play their first CIF match at home on Wednesday.  Way to go Ladies!!
